The mission of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is working with others to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.

Description

The Alpena Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office is the conservation office of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service responsible for Lake Huron and Western Lake Erie. We conduct fish population research, native species restoration, aquatic habitat restoration, improve fish passage, help monitor and erradicate aquatic invasive species, and provide outreach and education for the public.
