MSU Extension (4-H Youth Programs and Michigan Sea Grant) staff hosting 4-H Great Lakes and Natural Resources Camp, a statewide youth leadership camp focused around natural resources and hosted locally in northeast Michigan (Presque Isle County)

Upon discovering, documenting invasive round gobies in Presque Isle Countyís Lake Esau, 4-H Great Lakes and Natural Resources campers launched an investigation to study the impacts of non-native aquatic invaders in this local lake.
Seventy Michigan youth gathered to learn about Michiganís natural resources through amazing hands-on experiences at the 2011 4-H Great Lakes and Natural Resources Camp (GLNR).
4-H Great Lakes and Natural Resources Camp campers gain science and career experience while helping to map invasive plants threatening biodiversity within Lake Huronís coastal wetland habitats.
