The Northeast Michigan Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative could not be as successful as it is without the dedicated support from all of our partners, including schools, government agencies, non profits, and businesses. They are the people that make these projects happen! Click the link below to see a list of all the partners involved in NEMI GLSI.

Hubbard Lake Sportsman & Improvement Association

The Hubbard Lake Sportsman & Improvement Association (HLS&IA) is an organization of men and women of the Hubbard Lake who united in 1946 to improve the environment, natural resources, including fisheries and wildlife habitat of Hubbard Lake

These conditions include but are not limited to:  monitor, preserve, protect, and enhance the environment, natural resources, wildlife habitat, fisheries, water quality, and natural state of Hubbard Lake and its watershed.

The organization also promotes the education of the membership, including watershed and lake property owners and other lake users on environment, natural recourse, water quality, fishery, wildlife habitat, and lake stewardship issues affecting the quality of life in and around Hubbard Lake through the organization's newsletter, The HLSIA News, regular membership meetings and other appropriate means.
