Our NEMIGLSI Network is hiring!

The Northeast Michigan Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative (NEMIGLSI) network is a regional partnership of education and community partners collaborating to protect our Great Lakes and natural resources of northeast Michigan through hands-on, place-based learning, and our NEMIGLSI network is hiring an Education Coordinator to serve with the Huron Pines AmeriCorps program in 2018. Housed out of Alpena, MI in Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary's offices, this position offers opportunities to engage youth, network, gain experience, and protect our Great Lakes. Through our network, you serve directly with students, teachers, and these leadership partners: Alpena Montmorency Alcona Educational Service District, Cheboygan Otsego Presque Isle ESD, Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan, Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative, Huron Pines, Michigan Department of Natural Resources Michigan State University Extension, Michigan 4-H, Northeast Michigan Council of Governments (NEMCOG), Michigan Sea Grant, Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
