The Missaukee Conservation District, in collaboration with the Kalkaska CD, Wexford CD, and Grand Traverse CD, would like to invite you to the Renewable Roots Retreat 2025.

This event will be taking place at the beautiful Timber Wolf Lake Camp on Thursday, November 6th, from 9 am-10 pm and  Friday, November 7th, from 9 am-12 pm.
 
Participants will be able to attend informational workshops regarding forestry, mushroom growing, microgreens, alternative pesticide use, growing your own tea garden, and more! 
 
There will be opportunities to network with others. Certification courses in both Project WET and MEECS will be available! We will be giving out awards and sharing everything we've accomplished this past year. Tickets are $149 each and include all meals. If you want to stay overnight at the camp, you can book either shared or single-room accommodations.
 
After purchasing your ticket, the Missaukee Conservation District staff will contact you for information regarding dietary and accommodation needs. Registration is required.  Visit https://www.missaukeecd.org/workshops to register or call our office at 231-839-7193. This event is made possible by the Missaukee Conservation District millage, renewed in 2024.
