Gaylord High School - Comparative Limnology of Otsego County

Watershed Studies

Students participating in this course will travel throughout Otsego County to learn about limnology. They will collect water quality data, perform macro-invertebrate population census surveys, as well as learning about a number of other Limnology-related topics. For example, in this photo students are building large woody debris structures as a river restoration technique. Click here to visit their website which hosts photos and stories about the project.
