Thompson's Harbor State ParkThompson's Harbor State is situated along seven and a half miles of Lake Huron shoreline, this undeveloped park provides a rustic retreat for hikers exploring the park's six miles of trails.

Blake Gingrich with the Michigan DNR educated students on wetlands, recreation opportunities available at the park, and other opportunities with the DNR.

Brandon Schroeder with the Michigan Sea Grant taught students about the great lakes fisheries, coastal habitat and the vast biodiversity along the Lake Huron shoreline.

Daniel Moffatt taught students about sand dunes and swales at Thompsons Harbor State Park.
